EPISD Mock Electoral Vote/Voto electoral simulado de EPISD

The EPISD mock election process includes an electoral process simulation as well.  This was done by factoring two electoral votes for each school, as well as one electoral vote for every 134 students attending a specific campus, rounded.  This means that there are a total of 538 electoral votes for the entire district. This means that any candidate that receives 269 electoral votes will be the candidate elected by EPISD students. This is not the same as the popular vote.  To find out more about the popular vote and to see the popular vote results click the popular vote button above.

What if no candidate gets 270 electoral votes?

This has happened twice. The first time was following the 1800 presidential election when the House chose Thomas Jefferson. And following the 1824 presidential election, the House selected John Quincy Adams as president. -https://www.usa.gov/electoral-college
